The majority of our clients prefer the individuality of one-to-one tuition and there is no doubt that it is particularly effective in improving not only a student’s academic grades, but also their practical understanding of a wide range of subjects. Unlike in school:
- Private tuition enables lessons to be easily customised to suit the individual pupil, both in terms of content, focus, pace and teaching style. It enables tutors to adapt lessons to fit to their student’s preferred learning styles, enabling all pupils, regardless of innate ability to be stretched and challenged appropriately.
- One-to-one tuition means that the tutor and student work much more closely and develop stronger relationships compared to a classroom setting. The impact this has on the pupil is profound, as tutors will be able to spot potential problems and correct misconceptions much more quickly than in school. For shy students, being in a learning environment with less people can also help them to express themselves, as they are under less pressure from their peers.
Cost per hour for a regular lesson:
- £65 for Year 7 – Year 11 (up to GCSE)
- £75 for Economics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics A Levels.
