We are also happy to do a mixture of both online and face-to-face tuition, whatever suits a student best.&nbsp; We have found the best medium of communicating online is via Microsoft Teams, the software for which can be downloaded free of charge regardless of whether you are using Windows or a Mac.&nbsp; We then send a link to the student so that they can access Bitpaper, an interactive whiteboard.&nbsp; There is no additional cost to yourselves for this resource. It does, however, work best using Chrome as a browser.&nbsp; Optionally, students may find it easier to write on the whiteboard if they have a touch screen computer\/laptop or it is possible to buy a graphics tablet, such as the Huion Inspiroy HS610, which is very easy to set up and use. These tablets can be purchased via websites such as Amazon for around \u00a360.&nbsp; However, this additional equipment is optional and we do successfully deliver lessons without students having either a touch screen computer\/laptop or a graphics tablet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regardless of how the lesson is taught \u2013 online or face to face, there\nis no doubt that one to one tuition is particularly effective in improving not\nonly a student\u2019s academic grades, but also their practical understanding of a\nwide range of subjects.&nbsp; Unlike in school:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Private tuition enables lessons to be\neasily customised to suit the individual pupil, both in terms of content,\nfocus, pace and teaching style. It enables tutors to adapt lessons to fit to\ntheir student\u2019s preferred learning styles, enabling all pupils, regardless of\ninnate ability to be stretched and challenged appropriately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One-to-one tuition means that the\ntutor and student work much more closely and develop stronger relationships\ncompared to a classroom setting.
